Unfortunately, you apparently did not understand my hint. I tried to make clear to you that you should 1. weigh between the drafts "89 / Dice" and "116 / Yvonne" and then 2. act as if the decision was your second-to-last attempt at entering a PIN before "Game over"; and from this then 3. distill an adjustment of the "approval planning" that can be finally submitted with a "plopp, that means Stoppppp!" Instead, you behave as if you wanted to dethrone from the throne of the infinitely retrying princesses, and want to suck on the "proposals take turns" game until one of the two hobby planners is tired of drawing and falls down like dead.

For my part, you may now expand the choice to include the third semifinal draft "198 / Yvonne," but then decide, finito, basta! (or do you absolutely want to risk the general contractor terminating the contract due to the client's indecisiveness)?

Of course, nobody is obliged to follow my hints, but the business of contractors is not to watch their clients waiting for Godot. Your general contractor will soon have its already white-hot brake pads explode!
(and I’m considering whether to at least say goodbye from your thread with a heartfelt "oh, do whatever you want," my popcorn bowl is at least almost empty at the very last crumb).

Why shouldn't one be able to deal with the plot? It's quite OK for a single-family house. The building authority can't be blamed that the OP wants to build 2 or almost 3 residential units and has an incompetent planner for that.

So, is right. Even though I’m not a fan of pronouncing something simple in a complicated way. I also don’t like some things. But you are given the external dimensions and volume by the approved plan. Then the difficulty of accommodating 6 bedrooms plus a budget and an apartment for seniors. At some point, it’s no longer about liking it, but about function. And this function, that you can live there with 5 or 7 people together and still have private retreat options, and make it somewhat attractive. Such difficulties as the straight staircase brought up a few days ago really aren’t needed if it then somehow negatively affects everything. 8 sqm utility room is not much. We have 8.5 sqm for two people plus a laundry room upstairs of about 4 sqm and I don’t want or can give up any sqm of that. If you think everything works better if you can outsource necessary storage space, then I give you the tip to deal with homebyme yourself and redraw your house. It’s self-explanatory, and doable alongside a full-time job.

Finally, some sensible information. Okay, here is another proposal based on the new information. In the main apartment, I have set a half-landing staircase – in my opinion just as good as a straight one. But if that absolutely can’t work, you can just fiddle your design back in here – it probably would work too. I thought the message "just get to the point already" had been made clear enough before, but apparently I had to follow up.

No. Since this can no longer be dealt with by a simple revision, the cards are being reshuffled within the constraints. For the office, the building envelope remains, but for financial reasons it will now either be smaller or much harder to manage.

Since the OP was basically just waiting for the masonry to begin, I think that the building permit basically restricted possibilities. We talked about it. I assume that the building permit allows for conditional changes. I am assuming the original dimensions. I also had the impression that the OP had communicated that.
