Yes, it should be S/O. 4 parking spaces are way too many. Everyone around has 1-2 and more floor area. The woman won't agree either if in the end there is no green space left at all. How did you plan the accesses and stairs in your diagram?

I’m not that far yet. I’m not your architect anyway. I just have a few ideas. Should the extension on the east side have 2 floors? What does the northern neighbor look like? Please upload a photo of the property.

How many cars do you have?

The extension in the basement/ground floor/upper floor would be great with 2 floors, but 1 floor would also be sufficient since the house itself is small. Originally, we only planned the extension in the basement and ground floor and wanted to use the upper floor as a balcony/terrace. That way, the rooms on the upper floor would be about the same size. Due to lack of space, we then planned it as a room, which according to my pictures now looks ugly, long, and poorly lit.

Here is the photo of the property turned upside down so you can also see the dividing wall in the middle (fire protection wall) as well as the normal photo with description. If the fire protection wall were removed, I would have no privacy from the neighbors, hence the extension. Everything that is there can remain as is, so we would be very stupid if the wall was removed.

Legend:
1+2: Neighbor houses to which the extension has to be matched. Houses must be aligned
3: Fire protection wall, great privacy shield since the neighbors have their entrance there
4: Entrance to the neighbor’s granny flat
5+6: Entrance to the neighbors’ main apartments
7: Entrance of the existing old property that is to be demolished and divided into 2 plots
8+10: My property, alternatively the corner plot (No. 11) could also have been used but it offers less privacy
9: Parents' property

We don’t have a motor vehicle as we use car sharing and don’t need a private/professional car. So far, no car is needed for the granny flat either. We both used to have cars but rarely used them. We want minimal car parking spaces (probably 2 because of the granny flat).

PS: South is in the upper left corner of the top picture and in the lower right corner of the bottom picture

Take a look at semi-detached houses on the internet. Not many have one that is rather square. Still, both Weberhaus and Schwörerhaus have one that could be used as a basis.

Take a few steps back. The office on the ground floor is so far a multipurpose room—just planned as it would be nice, maybe for old age, maybe rented out.
One room upstairs is huge. It would be if maybe.
Under the roof you have standing height.
The plot is small.
On each floor, throw out what would be in square meters. You reduce the exterior dimensions (8 sqm less means 8 sqm more garden). Plan a staircase continuously up to the attic and use it. For gamers, I want to make phone calls in peace—the gable is long enough.

Regarding my proposal with swapping the parking space and the entrance: there really isn’t a path in between. It’s just a few steps.
And recalculate the granny flat again. You won’t get it for 130k. You have to pay taxes on the income, your depreciation is not that huge. Costs that you can deduct you have to spend in advance.
