And another attempt. The measurements have become slightly different.

OG will follow.

I'm curious to see what the verdict will be now.

Stairs in the middle of the living room passage? Because of the slanted door, you might not get the heating system into the utility room, or will you rebuild the walls around the heating? basically the "angular" I'm just imagining a 4.4m² bathroom with shower and bathtub

That tip has been given before, go to someone who knows about this!

Thank you Perlenmann,

I think I will still hear/read the advice about getting help from others quite often. But I still want to try it myself.

I followed your tip and removed the corners/angles. At first, I didn't want to have the wardrobe under the stairs, but as you can see, it looks good and the WC and utility/laundry room are immediately larger. The breakthrough will be a glass sliding door, meant to convey an open character but keep odors and noise in the kitchen.

Regarding the bathroom in the granny flat: there is no shower, but a bathtub and a washing machine. At the moment, we have a WC of the same size and it works quite well.

A bit better already

I would reconsider the open look of the glass door. You are just looking through a pane onto a staircase! Does that look open?

OK washing machine, I would let the hallway (Einliegerwohnung) end directly at the bathroom, making the bedroom bigger. You can't use the square meters in the hallway, but you can in the bedroom.

Do you have another picture of the upper floor? I can't see anything anymore in the first post

With a beautiful staircase, I think it's better to look at the staircase than at a wall, but I will render it and take a look.

I have already virtually furnished the bedroom and it fit well, the larger hallway then offers space for jackets/shoes and such. Some kind of "in-between solution" is probably best there.

The upper floor will follow tomorrow; I have the drawing at home.

Hi,
to be honest, do you really think this is good? In my opinion, it lacks a bit of flair. Looks like it’s trying too hard and not quite succeeding.

Designing is not everyone’s thing......

Regards

P.S. Please don’t take it personally, but there are people who have studied this
