Radius 1.5 m is enough for all kinds of aids. Google zero barrier. You want to enjoy the lake view for as long as possible. There are many possibilities.

I generally like your floor plan and house overall. Just a few small remarks:

That the guest or you have to wind through the living room to get to the bathroom when you're older isn’t ideal, but there are probably worse things. You could also install a secret door between the guest room and the bathroom and make the sink narrower.
The right kitchen unit and the door to the utility room somehow collide or create a rather narrow passage. I would probably access the utility room from the hallway and use the original door opening for additional tall cabinets in the kitchen. If you leave the door there, a larger wardrobe would be nice.

Are you sure you can see the lake from the bed? If it is really located towards the corner of the property, that could be difficult, especially for the person not sleeping on the bathroom side. Maybe turn the bed 90 degrees? Headboard facing the bathroom, then you would have a kind of dressing area behind it. I would possibly try to move the bathroom door forward so you don’t always have to wind past the bed. I would rethink the bathroom layout anyway; I don’t find it quite successful yet. Isn’t your property not private at the back, or do I remember that wrong? If so, make the bathroom window bigger and enjoy the view while bathing. Those high-placed windows give a bit of a basement feeling rather than wellness.

And one last question: Why don’t you use the double garage as a roof terrace instead of the small balcony? You could surely make it accessible from the bedroom somehow. As far as I can see, it’s not on the boundary, so it would be allowed. Make sure to build it high enough so you have a view of the lake from there.

...already done and marked. Being old can be exciting after all.-...little secret doors and such; how romantic. We are installing our current kitchen there and that’s why it’s planned like this. Still, such an idea is up for discussion. True. Lake view should be possible; if necessary, the right of the stronger decides, so I will probably just look at a woven wall hanging then. Yes, the bathroom is not quite finalized yet, we have already drawn a trillion versions and will also look at your idea. We have something similar live here right now where we can largely replicate details. Yes, the bathroom door would be better further forward... still in progress- Yes, it is, at least mostly. The whole bathroom itself is still not quite finished, so the window arrangement is partly still vacant. True again- Basically, we will probably use the balcony less, but it will still be built. We had the roof terrace on the carport in mind, but that is the direct front to the neighbor’s house. Nevertheless, we will make sure that such usage will be possible. We have thought about the lake a thousand times; in the end, we should build a matching treehouse to really get the feeling of how it will be in the house. I had something similar back then with a river and am therefore aware of the situation. The current balcony is not visible because our house will shift a bit forward. The roof terrace would be directly facing the neighbor, unless you green it somehow, for example. As said... it’s in mind. Many thanks for your effort... and always bring it on, because every suggestion will definitely be considered openly! I certainly don’t want any trouble with you...

I just realized, upstairs is warmer than downstairs for us because of the open layout. That's why a bedroom upstairs is out of the question for us, not in winter and even less in summer, but some people do like it warm

No, it should be less warm, hence the direction. However, we have considered a worst-case scenario with an air conditioner in case it gets too hot, but we will try to keep the heat out largely through venetian blinds and appropriate shading behavior. In the end, every decision has its impact, but we think this will work for us.
If necessary, aircooooooo.....

With us, the patio doors are open, living in the garden and so on, in summer many neighbors here have their shutters/blinds down, feeling like a basement apartment. With us, the glass surfaces are shaded with the roof overhang and sun sails, but during the heatwave last summer the house heated up to 28 degrees during the day, then the Mediterranean measures come into play, air conditioning is not yet
