our architect told us that a 1m sphere must be able to pass through all rooms and doors, this is comfort in younger years and may be necessary later, our floor plan allowed it

Just measured, it’s "only" 6.45m after all. The redesign makes living on the ground floor easier - it’s a good idea. Have you ever thought about a "Übereck-Fenster" to the lake in the gallery? Sofa and TV corner on the gallery seem like a duplication to me.

- Thanks
yep, bathtub lift and then the power goes out halfway; a dream!
As I said, that was a last-minute planning night action, with final details in the bathroom among other things still to come. The showers will be designed as large as possible. The good thing is that the upstairs bathroom is only a guest bathroom, so it doesn’t have to be barrier-free or anything like that. If possible, we’ll make it larger. It now also depends on the knee wall height how much usable space will be created there. This now has to be clarified with the planner. But we are glad that at least this so-called tube bathroom fits. I once had something like that in a hotel and found it funny. Ultimately sufficient for guests.

Corner windows gladly, but it doesn’t work because of the ridge transition roof slope. You could use skylights for that. The problem is that the perfect line of sight to the lake is exactly at a 45-degree angle. But thanks to the wide window now, you have a good view. Previously from the bed you had to think about whether you could see it lying down or sitting and how to arrange the bed. Now it is a room where ultimately a pool table could also stand because there is already a living room downstairs.
You’re right about the duplication. Ultimately it is now a large room that can be used however you want since there won’t be walls or anything like that. The current furnishing is due to one or two pieces of furniture like the TV sofa. It is a bed with a so-called “Schaenenhals” (older model from Ruf) with an integrated, beautifully shaped aluminium folding table in the middle. A large piece of furniture but more of a fun part. Maybe we’ll part with it during the move too, because watching TV could also be done in the guest room. That is rather secondary for us. For now, it was important that you could set it up if desired.

I really like EG,
utility room with a terrace door instead of a window (the craftsman doesn't have to walk through the house, if washing machine then a short way to the drying rack),
upstairs I would make a walk-through bathroom to the guest room, I am happy to come to the seating area, lake view, view from the gallery ...

Thanks; let’s see how much space the technology needs, I’m not familiar enough with the new devices. So far the type of heating is not fixed, although it could possibly be an air-water heat pump or I might opt for an underground liquid gas tank, even if some people might stone me for it. But I just don’t like photovoltaic or solar panels on the roof and that would require a certain share of renewable energy. But if it’s possible space-wise, that would be an option. We also had drawn a pass-through bathroom (we probably drew everything) but it also has disadvantages. If someone is a guest in the room and the other visitor really needs to go because of beer at the lake view, then the visitor in the room would be trapped for that time. And sometimes that can take a while. Or visiting couple: the man sits and sits and the woman would like to watch the host drumming. But she has to wait because the man is still sitting and she is locked in. The option of the bathroom AFTER the room, so at the end, has a similar problem. Visitor is sleeping and another visitor wants to use the bathroom... difficult. Therefore this solution... but thanks for your tip. When it’s finished, I’ll put a cold drink for you on the gallery -
