yep, bathtub lift and then the power goes out halfway; a dream!
As I said, that was a last-minute planning night action, with final details in the bathroom among other things still to come. The showers will be designed as large as possible. The good thing is that the upstairs bathroom is only a guest bathroom, so it doesn’t have to be barrier-free or anything like that. If possible, we’ll make it larger. It now also depends on the knee wall height how much usable space will be created there. This now has to be clarified with the planner. But we are glad that at least this so-called tube bathroom fits. I once had something like that in a hotel and found it funny. Ultimately sufficient for guests.

Corner windows gladly, but it doesn’t work because of the ridge transition roof slope. You could use skylights for that. The problem is that the perfect line of sight to the lake is exactly at a 45-degree angle. But thanks to the wide window now, you have a good view. Previously from the bed you had to think about whether you could see it lying down or sitting and how to arrange the bed. Now it is a room where ultimately a pool table could also stand because there is already a living room downstairs.
You’re right about the duplication. Ultimately it is now a large room that can be used however you want since there won’t be walls or anything like that. The current furnishing is due to one or two pieces of furniture like the TV sofa. It is a bed with a so-called “Schaenenhals” (older model from Ruf) with an integrated, beautifully shaped aluminium folding table in the middle. A large piece of furniture but more of a fun part. Maybe we’ll part with it during the move too, because watching TV could also be done in the guest room. That is rather secondary for us. For now, it was important that you could set it up if desired.
