Hello , now things are really moving forward for you – I'm happy and find your floor plan very nice for two people and accordingly tailored to your habits and needs. That’s exactly how a house should be, it should fit your own, individual needs and routines... I find it quite unfortunate in some threads and reactions in the forum that sometimes people try to "force" something on others and present it as a major planning mistake, I have noticed that more than once... I really like the open space in your floor plan, I would love to see it once completed, I think the good 4 meters of room depth is really more than bearable... and honestly, how many of you had a living room with a depth of more than 4 meters before the house building project??? I currently don’t have one and still you can arrange it really well, right? Or what is this new standard based on – bigger, faster, farther? ;-) So, I like it, and as a fellow sufferer, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that things now progress quickly!!!

Well then...... as I said, you are always welcome at my place, we have always maintained a house open to guests and like that very much. – for you it’s apparently almost just around the corner..... :D As long as nothing has been built yet, I find it okay if people sometimes express their opinion vehemently, because as a builder you might become a bit stuck. After completion, however, it is inappropriate and also pointless. Well then...... Of course, we were not entirely sure how it would come across, although we recently lived abroad in a similar house for a year. In addition, we also like to be bold and neither think about resale nor anything else but solely our own joy. Of course it pinches visibly here and there but our routines are known for years and they do not have to remain that way, then we live just as well with that. We are really happy with the staircase, also because the surroundings and the builder are great; I like to build something with pleasant people and that was the case here! I keep reading the standards you mentioned and whoever likes it, should do it. We dared a few things also in the equipment and maybe we made some mistakes doing so or should have done it differently. But that’s not a new feeling, as an older applicant you know such things and aren’t shocked too much anymore. I don’t know your project but I’ll take a look right away and of course I wish you good progress as well. Whenever you come by DD, make a stop..... anytime, gladly!

Thank you! For me, it is finally moving towards roof completion, but I also had enormous construction delays, however the fixed price is being maintained... but mentally it is exhausting, but the rest will also be done... My house is also not really standard, you will see that in the floor plan. I will post pictures when the scaffold is gone... ;)

In recent years, I have increasingly heard about "standards" that one must and will meet from now on. The work and the results remained at most equivalent, but we could say that we now have standards. Of course, there is also construction nonsense that one shouldn't really have too much of oneself. As long as you go through life satisfied, you have done everything right, even without standards :D I once wanted to put my beautiful steel refrigerator in the dining room, 5 meters away from the kitchen. Completely off standard because I liked it that way. As I have often written, I also somewhat miss seeing the existing diversity in the houses that are built. A house especially lives from the people who live in it. Here I have already seen a few really beautiful houses, even if they might belong to the more affordable category and were often built without much frills… maybe precisely because of that. Speaking of which.... I still have a half-covered roof and two large missing windows...... nevertheless, the knot is finally solved now and things are moving forward quickly. I have stopped getting annoyed after 6 months; otherwise, I would be hanging on a rafter....... now we are happy and try not to let the annoyance grow unnecessarily large.

What do you consider "standard"? "Standard" was once planned at some point and has prevailed. Family houses get optimal positioning, usable, and living spaces. If you have to accommodate 4 people on 140 sqm, you should follow some rules; otherwise, the house does not offer enough private zones or storage space for every resident. Consequence: one does not feel comfortable for several reasons. If you can stick to planning generously in relation to the number of people or financial possibilities, you can already avoid errors with size... and yes, there are serious errors – you actually almost see them only in DIY floor plans. I find your contribution very destructive in this respect. The planning allowed you to find a place for it ;)
