The upper floor is spanned with a free span and all non-load-bearing interior walls are made of gypsum boards?
....hopefully walls that provide the necessary function. It is the general contractor’s plan, which is now being submitted to the authorities. But I will ask him, though I also think that some load will be picked up somewhere.
Tomorrow the paperwork goes to the structural engineer, hopefully there will also be the necessary specifications.
If possible, move the stairs 30 cm to the left. Then the lift upstairs will work too.
I don’t notice anything else.
Because...? Do you have the required measurements for that? That would be great. At the moment I do the backflip up the stairs with my eyes closed but the missus already sometimes limps.....-
Doesn’t the bedroom get the lake view?
Oh dear.... you know.... what can one do against a sentimental Dachshund look? The bottle of Bommerlunder for breakfast on the bedroom balcony is already chilled.
And in terms of design you’ve clearly soaked up some inspiration from @KingSong.
No, I don’t know anyone with such a name; is he KingKong’s brother?
Is there an option here for how I could quickly find pictures/floor plans etc. from him without searching for nights on end?
What I would have a hard time giving up is the lake view.
We didn’t give that up, but rather have it from the bed instead of from the living room. After all conceivable considerations we arrived there and ultimately we like it like this. At the moment we already have a nice view, so that would probably be a downgrade -. Still, having the lake view from the bed is equally valuable for us as a living room view. That reminds me that cruise tourists also always want buses with 50 seats in the front row. We were like that here too but in the end it’s good for us like this.
Maybe a pavilion (matching the house in appearance) in the right spot and you’ll voluntarily walk there and admire the lake and your house. The exterior looks factual and modern to me, I like that.

Something similar in a modern style will perhaps be built, definitely an outdoor sauna, which I prefer much more (because often simpler) than an indoor sauna. Unfortunately, there is a view of the lake only from the first floor, otherwise it would have been a bungalow.
Maybe I’ll also build myself a mirror like at the intersection-
It should look that factual, we already had it differently. Now we just have to stay as factual as possible with the interior finishing and just as much with the budget, otherwise it will get tight with the evening red wine-
