We could then occasionally swap apartments; for vacations this has existed for a long time. That would finally be something innovative here, everyone has to make their place available for trial living once, as a thank you for their cooperation.

The upper floor is cantilevered and all non-load-bearing interior walls are made of gypsum panels? - and in terms of design, you've probably drawn some inspiration from .

If possible, move the stairs 30 cm to the left. Then the lift at the top will also work. I don't notice anything else. The bedroom will get the lake view after all.

The design feels balanced, you can live well in the house, nothing gets stuck. What I would have found hard to part with is the lake view. Maybe a pavilion (look matching the house) in the right spot and you voluntarily walk there and admire the lake and your house. The exterior view seems straightforward and modern to me, I like it. ....hopefully walls that provide the necessary function. It is the general contractor’s plan, which is now being submitted to the authorities. But I will ask him, though I also think that some load will be picked up somewhere.
Tomorrow the paperwork goes to the structural engineer, hopefully there will also be the necessary specifications.

Because...? Do you have the required measurements for that? That would be great. At the moment I do the backflip up the stairs with my eyes closed but the missus already sometimes limps.....-

Oh dear.... you know.... what can one do against a sentimental Dachshund look? The bottle of Bommerlunder for breakfast on the bedroom balcony is already chilled.

No, I don’t know anyone with such a name; is he KingKong’s brother?
Is there an option here for how I could quickly find pictures/floor plans etc. from him without searching for nights on end?

We didn’t give that up, but rather have it from the bed instead of from the living room. After all conceivable considerations we arrived there and ultimately we like it like this. At the moment we already have a nice view, so that would probably be a downgrade -. Still, having the lake view from the bed is equally valuable for us as a living room view. That reminds me that cruise tourists also always want buses with 50 seats in the front row. We were like that here too but in the end it’s good for us like this.

Something similar in a modern style will perhaps be built, definitely an outdoor sauna, which I prefer much more (because often simpler) than an indoor sauna. Unfortunately, there is a view of the lake only from the first floor, otherwise it would have been a bungalow.
Maybe I’ll also build myself a mirror like at the intersection-
It should look that factual, we already had it differently. Now we just have to stay as factual as possible with the interior finishing and just as much with the budget, otherwise it will get tight with the evening red wine-

Gypsum boards are not used for load-bearing walls. With beams, the roof could be free-standing here. The missus can sit down completely relaxed while filming the video of you doing the back handspring upstairs. With mouseover over the member’s name you should quickly end up in his post history. He built a fancy Jura house with a mother-in-law extension. The "floor tiles" are also quite nice.
