We have the spruce planks visible inside and outside completely and no floor-to-ceiling windows except for the terrace door.
I particularly mean the stronger settling behavior, which involves special considerations when installing, for example, doors, the staircase, or drywall walls. Since we have no cladding on the ceilings and walls, we had to have the entire house fully planned in terms of electrical and other interfaces before production release.
The lighting situation must also be evaluated differently so that you don’t get the feeling that the walls are crushing you... No dark window frames or windowsills, many light sources inside the house. In general, the furnishings must be chosen differently when you have wooden walls, because, for example, not every parquet or furniture decor matches the walls.
Many things that were listed as the builder’s responsibility in the construction specification, of which you only later realized how labor-intensive they actually are. And completely different tools, of course.
Also, from 4.50m upward we have cross points inside, which we basically use as "room dividers." They only extend 15cm inside and outside... but were necessary; otherwise, the risk of twisting is too great.
