What would also be conceivable here is the Florenz by Rentsch (I am only referring to the layout). With a few small changes (e.g. pantry removed, children’s rooms together upstairs on the left side of the plan and slightly narrower. Possibly remove the recessed bay window, terrace to the left side of the plan) it is definitely an option if one is a bit more daring.

Hm, with that we would have the stairs in the nice area at the back south/west.., I think that would be a pity for the study in the north.

I took another shot at drawings inspired by a different staircase/layout from the split floor plans! I actually wanted to adapt ypg’s floor plan here for our plot, but I couldn't fit the layout in lengthwise instead of widthwise.. do you have any ideas? Regards

I basically think it's good, but always try to include the terrace with the corresponding doors in the drawing. Otherwise, you quickly lose the reference to the garden and, for example, don't realize that it is nicer if the kitchen borders the terrace and not the sofa. ;)

Yes, not the garage on the left side of the plan at the boundary, but at the bottom of the plan (on your last drafts). Then you have to go around the corner again, but the car does have a steering wheel.

Thanks for the tip about the kitchen/garden/terrace. I’ve now drawn something again that we really like! Can you still see any pitfalls or other impractical planning mistakes?

So you like the idea with the courtyard and the courtyard garage? Am I seeing that correctly? And you are also open to a straight staircase, as I see? I think that's good. One should always keep some options open – often you then get a really good design. It's different when you fixate too much on one thing from the start. I have tried again now... but I am still working on it.
