I only saw the post today. Just as a thought. The OP has already given it some good consideration. It also works with an all-purpose room but not open at the top.

The technical room has moved upstairs to the north because the heat pump is also supposed to go there.

Otherwise, you can hardly recognize anything and have no sense of scale ... The kitchen does not look like the TE's desired concept.

Although we would also place the heat pump in front of the house there if the technical room were in the south... We are flexible and the first idea was also to create a protected corner for the terrace with the garage. As I said, we are very open to ideas.

It also looks interesting, although I think the actual measurements will probably mess things up for us again… A kitchen island would be important to us instead of a seating area.

Could it be that you planned the house around the kitchen? The sofa/TV area being somewhat secondary is okay, but in the end, a family wants to feel comfortable in the house every day. Life is not just about cooking ;)
