Wasn't there this strange Eco mode for hot water at Tecalor that somehow "adjusts" the hot water temperature but always stayed miles below the set temperature?

A hot water hysteresis is, at least as far as I know, purely a negative hysteresis. So it stops at 51° and heating starts again below 47°.

The Eco mode does exist – yes. The Eco temperature is set to 10°C, according to my attached picture.

Since I have the comfort mode activated – this setting probably applies to me as well, right?

So the pump heats down to the ECO temperature during times outside of the heating circuit (i.e. at night), correct? That’s probably why it takes too long to get back up to temperature again, which is why I have no hot water at 6:30 AM.

So this heating issue is quite complex... :D

No, with the Stiebel Eltron/Tecalor LWZs it goes both ways. I don't think it's different with this model.

The heating doesn’t heat ‘down’ :D Currently it just stays at 47° from 10 pm in the evening. In the morning, before it starts heating again, there might still be about 43° left. Due to the circulation, the hot water tank is also nicely mixed – I can well imagine that it first feels only lukewarm and it takes a while until it’s ‘hot’ again.

Anyway – I already said what I would set.

I'll try that as well. I will definitely set the hot water temperature higher and check what the hysteresis is set to and adjust it if necessary.

Then let's see if the water is hotter in the morning in the future. If that doesn't help either, I might shift the circulation time from 05:30 to maybe 05:00. Maybe I need more buffer here?
