No, the original plan was to install the ductwork for the ground floor in the floor structure of the upper floors, as well as the installation for the upper floor in the suspended ceiling of the attic. Now, for aesthetic reasons, we are considering switching to floor outlets for the supply air on the ground floor. But it’s still a bit problematic regarding the installation in the floor structure of the ground floor. There is thermal insulation planned on the floor slab here (I don’t have any under the floor slab) and the ventilation pipes should also be insulated, otherwise you get cooled supply air. The Valloflex basic package includes the piping and two air distributors plus accessories. But it comes with round pipes; I will probably have to switch to oval pipes. It is also possible to install it in the concrete ceiling, but then it has to be cast thicker = additional costs. I think my general contractor wanted 4000 EUR for that; so I preferred to take the ceiling height increase for half the price and integrated it into the floor structure.
