Numbers rather like

- what does the fun cost in acquisition
- what energy consumptions occurred in winter
- at which room temperatures
- Which NAT
- How is hot water prepared and what additional consumption occurs there
- Which cooling concept is possibly additionally required or how does the shading look?

Question 1 would therefore be answered with 8k. Which hot water technology is installed?

I do believe it can feel quite pleasant. How does it feel when it is -15°C outside? Then the window would really have to perform, right?

That the whole thing doesn't add up mathematically without misusing a photovoltaic system in a simplistic calculation, we have already discussed here extensively over 42 pages.

I can't be the only one who has noticed that in this ancient thread suddenly a brand new user appears who had never had anything to say here before, who happens to be not so good with numbers, and coincidentally is totally happy with his window heater.

I do not give up hope that an actual former builder with the heating system will really stumble across this place. Even if it is at the request of the provider. I am simply truly interested in the practical report (Tiefwinter) and the actual operating costs.

Dear Kati, I’m no nightingale! We happened to come across the heating windows. They are offered as standard with Talis-Haus. However, since Talis was not willing to accommodate our other special requests - (and neither is any other prefab house company), we ended up building ourselves and ordered the windows from Vestaxx. We are simply satisfied customers (yes, those still exist occasionally). Sometimes you just have to try something. I’m too old to be a milkmaid... And I just can’t understand why such a great idea is so badly calculated! We haven’t yet gone through a whole winter, so I can’t provide exact figures. Hot water is generated with instantaneous water heaters, works fine. No legionella problem! Any questions?

Yeah, come on, bring out the numbers. How long have you been living in the house and what energy consumption values have there been so far? We can also compare month by month. The heating season is over. In the new building, except for on the alpine pasture, heating is no longer necessary.

I would like to quantify this statement.

Quite simple. Because I can realize the whole thing with infrared panels for significantly less. And with fan heaters for half of that again. All other things like house, photovoltaics remain the same.
