Alright then: You won't optimize operating costs with that.

The system is advertised for extremely efficient houses. So 40 and better. It can make sense there. And with a SW photovoltaic system, you could harvest 3.15 kWh yesterday (10 unit system, continuously cloudy and/or drizzle). That allows for good heating during the day.

How come? My house has a standby consumption of 250-300W for technology, ventilation, IT and refrigerator, etc. Much less is not realistic, I think. The winter photovoltaic output is already used up after 10 hours. You haven’t even made coffee yet.

Surely there is no photovoltaic output left for heating.

That sounds like a lot. I am at about 150-170 watts. Controlled residential ventilation, refrigerator, waterbed. IT is manageable with router and switch.

Currently it is 707 watts including a few lamps, heating and TV/surround.

Today with some sun, there were 7.87 kWh harvest by the way.
