You signed a contract with a fixed price in March.

What do you still need to sign now?

I also fear that the costs would be too high in case of cancellation. Refinancing is basically out of the question. And in fact, we are rather being pressured by the family not to continue.

Then say: I indirectly asked it: So how is it now? How much are you really planning? 180 sqm? 220 sqm? Are you aware of that? Is there a possibility to do without one floor? Then discuss that with the general contractor … make it smaller for yourselves, and then go to the bank again.

We have not signed a contract but only an offer that was or is part of a contract which we still have to sign now. In any case, the prices were quite naturally increased again even though we signed this offer.

We are now planning 125sqm living space + basement. In terms of external dimensions, it can hardly be reduced anymore, it is already only 8.10 x 10.50. If anything, one really would have to do without one level.

Show the plan along with the questionnaire and your reasons as well as GU model houses in the mentioned subforum "Grundrissdiskussion". Maybe something solid could be cut there.
