Dear community, except for the NAS, which will come at a later date, the network cabinet is finished and I put it into operation today. I am very glad that I listened to your advice and also chose the switch from Ubiquiti. The setup was very easy and took less than an hour. I really enjoy the clear controller. I had to configure little myself. The APs connected automatically and the devices switch to the closer one without extra settings. Here is the setup. I was inspired by . Many thanks again for this and every help.

Yeah, looks really good :) You also have a bit of space left for expansion

Would you like to link the post that was your inspiration? It's always so hard to find otherwise. It definitely looks great. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, of course! It is post #68 from page 12: (Note, no full quote)

As a complete layman, the entire thread helped me a lot regarding the hardware and the selection/positioning of the boxes/APs. I definitely read it about 5 times from #1 to the end.

Our cabinet could have been smaller as well, but a NAS is still supposed to go in, we have the space, and I don’t know what the future will bring. Without the brush strips, it would also look significantly messier.

There is now a new (unfortunately expensive), only 30cm deep rack NAS ... Maybe that would be something? So far, all rack NAS have been too deep for the usual wall distributors ...

Synology has had those forever, the small RS with 2 or 4 hard drives are only about 30-32 cm deep.
