Proper surge protection starts at the house connection room. Once the surge is in your home wiring, the 9-way strip in front of your TV helps you little... because all other devices connected to the network, like cooktops, refrigerators, lamps, etc., see the surge in full height. Depending on the voltage level, even switched-off light switches can break down, as the separation gaps are not large enough for the occurring high voltage.

That gives me ideas, I think I also don't have something like that in the sub-distribution, thanks for the inspiration!

Simply do not install light switches. But where you are right, you are right. A residual current device should be installed by everyone in their sub-distribution in a modern building nowadays.

How do I install no light actuators at all? Is a KNX actuator resistant to high voltage?

Edit: Sorry, I meant withstand voltage.

There was no mention of actuators. It depends entirely on the relays used, and there is a relatively wide range here.

Alright, let's leave it at that. Anyone who has something like that installed doesn't worry whether a 9-socket power strip costs 16 or 160 EUR. It's a different world for me.

Anyone who installs something like that usually doesn't have any "X-fach Steckleisten." Because most of the time, the client/Si wants to avoid exactly that. But yes, what you write is true. You do think about the costs, but you pay for the desired comfort.
