Thank you for your feedback! My current plan looks like this for the following reasons: 1. The basement gets the access point in the office because I work there with the laptop and the printer. Otherwise, WLAN is actually not needed in the basement. 2. The ground floor gets the access point in the living room, as we spend most of the time there and the signal is also supposed to cover the terrace on the left side and the dining/cooking area. 3. A second access point is placed in the utility room, as my wife works there with her laptop and printer in the home office, and the signal should be sufficient for the terrace on the right side. 4. An access point in the hallway on the upper floor for the children’s rooms. We don’t have phones in the bedrooms and rarely/never need internet there. Could you please briefly explain to me what advantage it has in the basement to place the access point in the hallway instead of the office? I didn’t think it made sense to place the first access point on the ground floor between the partition wall and the outer wall, as it would then have a smaller "radiation radius" and be further away from the terrace on the left side. However, in my version, the partition wall between the living and kitchen area also remains.
