Exactly like that, then I'm almost the same. Also floor and painter done by myself.

You can subtract between €6000 and €8000, possibly €7000 as an average value

Of course, one should not assume this value... that's why we told our architect right away that we would like a reasonable calculation including all ancillary building costs. There was no upscaling in that sense for us. Land costs were already known, and we set fixed values for the kitchen and outdoor facilities, which we then adhered to.

However, I must say that some values here that are always called "standard" are in part far above our expenses. Some examples of our costs: Earthworks: €4,682.26 House connections (electricity, water, telecom): €3,044.65 Engineering costs (architect, structural engineer, surveyor): €16,984.50 Painting work + flooring as do-it-yourself (only material): approx. €4,500–5,000

No... I alone come to about €11,000 just with the items I can quantify... so without the base slab, masonry, and facing bricks.

So I would now have calculated about €18,000 for the complete garage.

EDIT: Although theoretically you shouldn't calculate the facing bricks at all, since the area of facing bricks on the garage probably would have gone to the area on the house where the garage currently stands :P

Here (and with other listings + sanitary) the real differences lie buried and not in supposed huge regional differences. I alone have spent more per room for the above item without feeling like I was in the luxury segment. It is simply a different standard. And while some people wouldn’t even accept certain things in a rental apartment, for others they seem to belong in the dream house.
