Storage systems have a capacity of 6-10 kWh (on average???). I would argue that this is not enough to get far with the electric car. For 50 km it should be enough.

Hmm.. that is of course not much. Well, it would be enough for the daily commute to work… still,… lame.

That's fine.

That's true as well. Although you have to say that the photovoltaic system often cannot even fully charge the storage on many days. In summer, though.

Even worse is that you don't get the VAT back if you first install a photovoltaic system and then later the storage. Then it is significantly more expensive than if you order the photovoltaic + storage package together.

But unfortunately, that is somewhat too short-sighted.
Without going into tax details, you need a minimum use of 10% of the total mileage for business purposes for an allocation to business assets (tax deductibility) of the car. Furthermore, as a business operator, you must be able to provide a total profit forecast.
This currently requires considerable structuring with a storage system, and with a car, you would immediately be considered a hobbyist.

So you definitely cannot claim the vehicle for tax purposes.

I can’t say how the conditions from the dealers look now.
You would have to read the terms and conditions carefully.
Normally, business operators are legally significantly weaker than private individuals.
There could probably also be problems regarding registration law.

What is so great about all these leasing offers for electric cars right now? You don’t get anything from the environmental bonus. You pay it upfront as a down payment and then have to reclaim it through the BAFA application. So you basically shove it down the dealer’s throat and are then lured in by supposedly "cheap" leasing rates..

That I buy technology for little money today, which in two to three years might be so outdated that no one would want to buy the car used anymore (e.g. real range today 250km ==> in three years 600km). I sure don’t want to tie myself to a bought car!!! What are cell phones from three years ago still worth today? Or smartwatches?
