Layman's opinion:
If you get a normal photovoltaic system for a heat pump, you can even operate the kettle, stove, washing machine, etc. with it, instead of using a "Photovoltaic Heater," an oversized water tank that is heated cheaply with photovoltaic electricity in summer and expensively with external electricity in winter.
Better take a small hot water storage and do something "meaningful" with the photovoltaic electricity, even if it's just selling the surplus to the supplier.
If a battery ever becomes worthwhile, add that as well.
