OT: I don’t understand why the planner can’t manage to implement your wishes 100% and instead plans some nonsense you never wanted? The windows in the attic peak are complete rubbish and ugly too, in my opinion. But the dressing room is still too narrow. He must see that?!
Sometimes it helps if you demand concrete furnishing. So say directly: in the dressing room, 2 wardrobes each 3m long and 65cm deep must fit, or something like that. At least 90cm walking space in between. Then he must deliver.
Making the 2 children's rooms exactly the same size wouldn’t be a problem either, right?
Otherwise, from my point of view, it’s only about windows and basement optimization.
I don’t know either. It’s just – to quote a great term from this forum – a sign slave. We had mentally distanced ourselves from this general contractor for a while because of the planner’s performance. We really wonder how the other builders handle this. Somehow he seems to hit the taste of people nevertheless, because he really builds a lot in our area and already about 30% in our building development. But presumably that means again that quality does not necessarily correlate with quantity.
Every correction request on early drafts resulted in even more convoluted drafts or things where even a complete layman would hold their head. Well, at least affordable for us with a basement. Then we have to pay the price for that in the form of a lot more thinking along.
Now we are satisfied with the floor plan and have the dressing room, basement, and windows corrected.
My advice is therefore to completely replan, and without the slightest consideration for the factor of aesthetics. I have the impression that the attempt at a successful appearance here is even the only culprit for the result being so exemplary ugly. If I also take a look at that
then the clear recommendation is “two full stories.”
What?!? No… rather not.
