By laymen, I meant you yourselves: it is quite common that laypeople have their own designs made the basis, and the draftsman simply takes the measurements from their Sweet Home / Roomsketcher drawings and just rounds them to the nearest half centimeter (because nowadays a widespread view is that the stone saw can cut any measure, so you no longer need to master the most basic mental arithmetic for planning). At least in the wall thickness, the structure is still the same as in the initial post. Personally, I would regard with the utmost suspicion whether the same laissez-faire approach will be used in the masonry as planned. Simply because I would suspect that your builder cannot even imagine what the old man is talking about. In contrast to you, he should be able to, after all, he does this commercially, and having knowledge of the matter is certainly more than just decorative.

We said that we wanted an open kitchen, a bathroom off the bedroom, and the size of the children's rooms (equal size, 14 sqm) was important to us. But she drew and planned it, and we really liked it!

The many doors in the bathroom and bedroom bother me, as we would then be banging them against each other, and the extra recessed walls are a bit too many for me.

The doors [Ankleide-Schlafzimmer] and [Ankleide-Bad] can also simply be passages.
