[SCHUHE ARE ON THE FLOOR, JACKETS HANG ON A COAT RACK. WHAT YOU DON'T NEED AT THE MOMENT GOES INTO THE WARDROBE. I DON'T KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS SEVERAL RUNNING METERS OF WARDROBE IN THE HALLWAY.

YOU GUYS ALWAYS EXAGGERATE HERE.]

Then you know someone now. Open coat racks are a no-go. At most temporarily, when the clothes are wet. Shoes in the wardrobe? Do you really have several pairs of shoes on the floor in the hallway? Over the course of the week, I wear several pairs of shoes and jackets, depending on the weather and occasion. Always going to the bedroom for that? I would find that impractical, regardless of the fact that I can't imagine shoes in the wardrobe. No, we have 2 m Pax cabinets in the hallway. 1 m for all shoes, 1 m for jackets depending on the season and motorcycle gear.

Yes, true, the bench is not included in your proposal.

And now already 2. We have a total of 4 shoe cabinets in the hallway. All are full and there are only two of us. And here’s the thing: I don’t have enough shoes. ;)

Oh, just shoes, no handbags? Even I, as a man who is probably pretty stereotypical when it comes to clothing, haven’t stashed ALL my shoes in the hallway. I can understand having several shoe cabinets, but not all in the hallway. You don’t need boots five times a year always on standby.

And where do you then store the five pairs of shoes per year?

All outside the entrance area, where space is a scarce resource and reserved for things directly related to arriving and leaving spontaneously. Dress shoes with the tuxedo, rubber boots in the utility room, hiking boots in the trunk, sneakers in the gym bag. None of these are shoes I would wear coming from the office or going to Aldi.
