: what disadvantages does the controlled residential ventilation have besides it costing 3-4k??
-The peanuts for the controlled residential ventilation are relatively irrelevant to me, today a cold roof already costs a 3-4k surcharge because it no longer corresponds to the spirit of the times
-I also don’t care much about energy consumption since I have my own forest (of course this cannot be applied to the general public)
-I work professionally with building technology and ventilation systems, I know what these devices and the ducts look like inside after 10 years (commercial properties), I don’t want to have something like that at home on principle (also not generally transferable)
-In any case, the systems must be maintained, so I have to take care of maintenance, which means stress and dirt
-From my point of view, the systems are not hygienic enough. Although I am allergic to hay fever, I prefer the pollen from outside air to the bacteria and fungal spores from the controlled residential ventilation.
-The systems are not silent; nowadays a lot of importance is placed on sound insulation, which is also very, very important to me personally, and yet people still get a ventilation system in their house. In our neighborhood no one has a controlled residential ventilation system, as far as I can tell so far. (If my neighbor had one, I would immediately commission an acoustic office for an appropriate sound power measurement and in case of exceeding the permissible level according to TA-Lärm, obtain an injunction)
-The system including pipes takes up space
-The appearance suffers inside and outside (also my own perception)
