No .. or? The staircase then has to start at the corner towards the utility room so that you still have standing height under the roof. But that makes the guest/work room on the ground floor very unusable.

Is a gable really planned for the roof?

Hmm .. I don’t find that well thought out. Now a roof hatch that is just narrow and hard to use, so also a hole in the ceiling. And for the stairs you would also prepare a hole - right?

The terrace .. then there will be chairs or a bench in front of the floor-to-ceiling window to the living room, max. 120 cm wide, because it is supposed to be in the sheltered corner, but you should also be able to get out of the dining room terrace door.

Do you want this shown freestanding tub in the main bathroom? Showering then in the other bathroom?

The whole concept doesn’t convince me, much of it seems unrefined and not consistently thought through.

.. I don’t just want to complain, but also try to show another possibility.
Left - my version ... Right Michaela with a suggested maybe staircase in the guest room
.

[*]Kitchen .. the existing 390 cm fits, plus base cabinets as planned before, but arranged as a peninsula. Small buffet area, large work surface for baking etc.
[*]Utility room is a bit bigger, you can at least move around better.
[*]Access to the terrace through a sliding door from the rather kitchen area, terrace corner somewhat larger
[*]Sofa area open to the room, but not directly in the view from the front door
[*]Possibility to place a 200 cm long table as drawn
[*]Space for a winding space-saving staircase. For now, you could leave it out, put only a folding attic ladder in the opening there and close the niche from the staircase, for example with a metal slat curtain. Then there is still space behind it for storage, and by pulling aside the slat curtain the attic ladder can also be used. The slat curtain would be more flexible than a small storage room there.

[*]If the space-saving staircase is installed later, a suggestion of how to divide the attic floor.
[*]Guest bathroom with 160x90 cm shower, right next to the main bathroom. Here I could imagine a sliding door between the bathrooms. If you have guests, the door is simply locked, otherwise it is open. This way you can switch from your main bathroom to the shower bathroom without having to go through the hallway.
[*]Closet now as the entrance to the private area and with 232 cm a much more usable width than the 193 cm from your plan.

Maybe there are some suggestions after all. By the way, it is about 113.78 sqm living/use area in the house.

Dear Kerstin,
You do know that this discussion already took place in July and Michaela only wanted to finalize the thread now with the definitive plan?

Well, construction hasn't started yet and in July the discussion about vacation passed me by.

Besides, I haven't changed anything fundamental .. except for a few points, where Michaela probably doesn't have the best feeling either:
- Terrace size with access there, if there is also terrace furniture.
- Stair position, in case it's an attic.
- and from me .. width of the dressing room as well as the fact that only a bathtub is planned directly in the main bathroom.

: I am once again very impressed. With the same depth and only 60 cm more width (that is: 6.3 sqm more built-up area), such a significantly more attractive layout can be achieved (without turning everything upside down!). Chapeau!

It’s really hard to believe that you don’t do this professionally.
