...Satinizing glass is done in three ways: the glass is etched flatly, if patterns are desired the glass is sandblasted, and if laminated safety glass (VSG) is to be used, the film can be installed as a satin film.

Partial glazing of triple glazing should be avoided or tempered safety glass (ESG) should be used to prevent glass breakage.

The same applies to roller shutters or venetian blinds, always shade the entire pane!

Summer thermal protection is essential, we get 70m2 of glass, mostly on the south and west sides; without it, the house would overheat.

Good morning everyone,

I will read through everything carefully later.

But one quick question; is there a possibility to create a kind of recess in order to assign the installation of a [Raffstore] or [Jalousie] separately?

Did I mention that the additional costs for the [Raffstores] amount to 10,700 euros?

Of course, I have found the ultimate alternative. [Rollladenjalousie]. Cost for the largest window about 3,500 euros.... it would of course be absolutely amazing to have the [Jalousien]. Besides the high price, there is also the almost impossible installation, since they require a lot of space in the box and the wall thicknesses of today’s houses unfortunately do not allow it. In old buildings, probably no problem. But well, whatever. Just wanted to share this with you briefly. I was definitely daydreaming.

Are zip screens an alternative? They require less installation height and are significantly less wind-sensitive.

The thermal insulation is now considerably higher depending on the selected fabric.

Regarding your question, the boxes can be pre-installed so as not to hinder the further construction process and the coverings can be mounted later.

If I understand correctly, venetian blinds are not recommended. When they are positioned horizontally during the day, the windows are not completely shaded, but only partially shaded. In that respect, blinds are better because you can lower them completely.

I consider this unavoidable and unproblematic. The intention was probably rather not to shade the upper part and to expose the lower part to direct sunlight.

Do you mean the recess structurally or to take the item out of the architect’s tender individually?
