Then you simply cannot compare your house, or only with other houses that have a usable basement.
But you could also just ask your general contractor what your house would cost without a basement.
That's exactly how I see it as well.
I don't want that either – for me, as I said, it was never a point I had compared, or wanted to compare.
I just wanted to mention this and say that this price indication is quite difficult to quantify and also not 100% transparent for home builders :)
That’s why there are different equipment levels both for the living area and for the basement.
There are no limits upwards, so an average is given. And the average for a basement, as long as you don't raise it with gold bars, can be googled and quantified just like the living area.
Even if you now tell me your price per sqm including basement, you absolutely have to specify whether it is fully or partially basemented. Whether you also use the basement partially for living, training, home office, etc. The equipment also changes accordingly.
You don't have to do that for the sqm price of the living area!
Yes exactly, that's true. That's how I arrive at the average price/m² according to Statista etc.
Ultimately, personal details about one’s own project have been given here in previous posts – which in my opinion I can only hardly quantify for my house. So I would (as you say) also have to indicate average values, which are not comparable. It already starts with the fact that it is a WU basement that costs significantly more. Also, southern Baden-Württemberg is not comparable to the East, etc.
Anyway, I just wanted to point out that this statement is not really transparent :)
