Wow, that is really intense. I wish you lots of strength to get through it.
But I don’t understand why it is being demanded at this absurdly high level.
Our main contractor speaks of 5% and the neighbor’s carpenter hasn’t had any price problems for his timber frame construction because he has had wood in stock for over a year. The few pipes don’t really make much difference.
The production costs of a house include a significant amount of labor costs. As far as I know, there have been NO increases in the relevant industries. I recently read that, for example, the wage negotiations in the construction industry were postponed.
