Price increase - Our construction company wants 21.4% more

From my own experience, I can say that building a house has actually become 20-30% more expensive in the last 6-8 months. I would have the contract terms legally reviewed. If you are right and continue building with the [GU], I would strictly monitor and document every step.

I am worried that further costs will arise from the sampling or that participation in the sampling will be legally considered as consent to the price increase. Really unpleasant that we received the information about the 21.4% increase only a few hours before the sampling.

Silent consent does not count. Have you been informed about this by phone or in writing? Sampling incurs costs regardless of the price increase.
