With this variant, however, the guest WC has no window. You should be aware of that. I wouldn’t like a room without windows. If you want to leave it like that, you can also push the room further to the right according to the plan all the way into the corner. Then move the door to the office further down and to the technical room further to the left. Whether all that is structurally feasible at reasonable prices remains to be seen. What is that in the living room to the left of the TV wall? At first glance, I don’t find the storage room all that narrow. If I understood correctly, only a narrow shelf and maybe a vacuum cleaner or something similar have to fit in there. We also have a single-leaf door to the living room, but with a width of 1m. I am absolutely satisfied with that; I don’t see why I should have a wider door there, which I wouldn’t open anyway.

Hi Jochen,

the meter is good. But 90 cm as the only access is quite narrow. And precisely because of the "something" you mentioned, I wanted to point that out.

As for the rest: okay, I didn’t consider the window. Storage room, if really only the vacuum cleaner and a bit of stuff end up in there, fine. However, that would be like the "luggage compartment," and if you also have suitcases etc. in there, it quickly turns into rummaging around.

Simply swap the guest WC and the wardrobe, remove the unnecessary kink, then the guest WC will have a window and the wardrobe won’t be so cramped because it’s open on one side.

Otherwise, it’s really much better already!

And now take real walls, and nothing fits anymore
What might quickly become 80cm from one meter wide :P
Regarding option 3 from me: Good choice to omit the pantry. Added value by shifting so that the utility room can also be accessed from inside.
Do not plan the bathroom on the upper floor above the dining room!
A large hallway on the upper floor is useless if there are doors everywhere. There won't even be space for a shelf or sofa.

That’s true, I just tried with 36 cm walls, then it really gets tight

Good evening everyone and hats off to you all.
I’m really impressed by how much everyone is contributing their thoughts here. *Thumbs up*

Sometimes you’re really blind because of all the thoughts --> WC on the ground floor without a window... how does one even come up with such a thing

I’ve now swapped the WC and the wardrobe on the ground floor. Then I pushed the utility room a bit forward so it can be accessed from the house. You can get to the utility room through the garage. You could also see it as a kind of dirt lock. The office was moved slightly forward.

Yes, the small box in the living area is still supposed to be the see-through fireplace, which hasn’t really found its place in the new floor plan yet. The door in the living area was extended to 1 meter.

Upstairs I moved the WC next to the bathroom. Unfortunately, I couldn’t come up with another design, for example with a dresser area between the children’s rooms. I suppose the space or layout wouldn’t work out anymore.

Greetings Andreas
