Oh, so that's what Förbättra is for!! I have this flimsy strip, but no idea what it’s for. Even when I opened the article, it wasn’t clear to me what it’s for... I’ve now simply set the stove at 40cm so that the board aligns with the front of the drawer. That way, the stove is right above the top edge of the drawer. Fits perfectly. Thanks for the important tip! I will use FÖRBÄTTRA above,

Thanks for the hint......

hm, I am also currently planning an Ikea kitchen and it shows it to me when I open the tall cabinet for the ovens.
When I click on filler strip, it adds such a small thing to the open gaps at the oven.

ok... let's take a closer look... I will have this case soon too... I took a picture...
gap above the oven.
The parts list included such a filler strip... but I still have a gap at the top.
Probably like you.

now I went to the filler strip and deliberately chose a high gloss red one.
You can see in the second picture where the planner puts it.
The parts list says - Ringhult drawer front high gloss red.

So I assume - that little plastic thing is only for even smaller gaps, or to cover the edge between the appliances... or as you say for cut edges and the like.
If the "hole" is bigger... you need a matching 10 cm drawer front for it.

Ha......... just learned something myself again.

The compact ovens have a height of 4555 cm and therefore the HELANDE panel is too tall to fit into the gap.
For this reason, the 10 cm drawer front is cut to the appropriate height and then fitted with the Förbättra cover strip (again an Ikea term that no one else uses). The assembly instructions show this well.

Hm, the only strange thing I find in this context is that the FÖRBÄTTRA cover strip and fitting are included in the planner for the tall cabinet for combi ovens, but I have to add the matching strip separately. At the same time, with the corpus it’s always the case that you only need the 10cm drawer once... but it’s only sold in packs of two, so you would actually already have a second one with it – for the matching strip. Unless you do it like me and count the drawers individually as needed, since I take all the parts individually and don’t rely on the shopping list from the planner...

I don't understand that now, if, as you say, the drawer front for the filler piece is already included in the 2-pack. It would be silly if a second pack appeared in the item list. Or do you mean the visual representation is missing, even though all parts are planned?

I mean, because nowhere does it say that I need the 2nd front for the mounting strip. I thought the mounting strip would also be cut out of the side mounting strips.

Wow, how do I explain this.... I need a 5cm wide, in my case 220cm long mounting strip at the beginning of the tall cabinet row so that, for example, the refrigerator door can open. For these 5cm, I have to buy an entire side panel/top side to then snip off a 5cm piece. I assumed that the mounting strip between or at the end of the ovens would also be such a piece of mounting strip cut from a top side. Not screwed on at the front like a "drawer," but attached between the side walls inside the cabinet. I need a top side anyway for the mounting strips at the end of the cooking row or around the corner so that the drawers don’t bump into each other. I have been planning the kitchen since the beginning of the year and until now I didn’t realize that when buying a pack of 10cm drawer fronts, I don’t get one left over to use somewhere else, but that they are calculated for the mounting strip in that cabinet. Whether I use a mounting strip in the planner or not... I always have the 2-pack of 10cm drawer fronts in the item list.

The devil is in the details.

Bye, Sabine
