phew, well personally I don’t think it’s better... maybe the hallway area, I also found the windbreak unnecessary. but the living-dining-kitchen area is personally just horrible to me and way too cramped and overcrowded. are those the actual furniture dimensions that are supposed to go in there? so you sit at the dining table and can’t even move back a meter because you immediately bump into the sofa or the counter? does this office room have to be downstairs? it blocks a lot for you. if the living room were there, you could put in a slant with a glass door and move the dining table to the right where the sofa is now. are you building with a basement or an attic expansion? can’t you somehow accommodate the office room there? or what if you swapped the office room with the kitchen? then you could make the office room a bit narrower, have the entrance directly at the front door and the kitchen nicely in the corner. what about the upper floor? I hate to say it, but if something doesn’t fit there and you have to move the stairs downstairs, you have to start over from scratch.

Hello,

no, the furniture is not to scale as it is. That is still on my to-do list. The kitchen + living area together are about 51m², isn’t that already quite spacious? Yes, we are building with a basement, so the study could easily be placed one floor lower. But then extend the living area to 65m²?

I still have to draw the attic on the PC. Will follow.

Without a scale, this doesn’t make sense... 51 sqm is more than enough, I think. I would advise you to get an architect, this won’t work otherwise. This is pure botching. Either do it properly or not at all.

I have found a prefab house whose floor plan is almost identical to my idea. I don’t know if I’m allowed to post the picture here. Just search for "Rensch-Haus Barcelona".

Hello,

......that doesn't make it better.
I find the attic catastrophic. And to be honest? The ground floor too.
I wouldn't like it. But if you like it and it meets your needs, why not?

Regards

I have now completely banished the old floor plan from my mind and have worked on a new room layout. The study has ended up in the attic. However, the drawing for the attic is not quite finished yet. Your opinion on the ground floor?
