Which insurances does one need when, and what should be considered?

We are currently also about to take out a term life insurance policy, cross-linked and with a decreasing sum insured. Now we are wondering whether to stick with the basic option or take out an extended benefit (Premium). The monthly price difference is around 5 euros.

With Interr..k, you also get quite a lot of additional benefits. Starting from early payout, through certain amounts for serious injuries (and not just death), or one-time payments in case of the child's death or need for care. The list is relatively long. Württ.... has a similar offer.

Against it speaks the higher price (about 2,000 euros over the term). In favor is that I do not only receive something in case of death, but also at least a minimal one-time payment or increased sums insured in other events.

What do you think? And does anyone have experience with the two mentioned providers?

The question is what your goal is. If it is only about securing the loan, do you then need early payout or money for the death of the child? I consider that absolutely irrelevant. Payments in case of serious injury or need for care must be weighed as that can, of course, have an impact on income. However, it also depends on the exact insurance conditions whether they really include what you expect.

We are currently also in the process of taking out life insurance. But we are still waiting 3 weeks because we will then finalize our financing and thus have shortened health questions. Do you always take out the insurances crosswise on the other partner? In other words, you always have to name the partner by name, correct? Why is there no comprehensive insurance? That's how I knew it from my parents in the past. Strangely, you always take it out separately, is there any reason for that? If you have to name the names anyway and then get divorced, you cancel both insurances anyway, or just let both continue?

Does it always make sense to insure the death of the partner, or your own death? Do you possibly have tax advantages if you insure the death of the partner instead of your own life?

Has anyone ever taken out something with "EUROPA"? By far the cheapest rates for life insurance...

Yes, I am with Europa. And yes, we did it crosswise. I took out a policy for my wife and vice versa. We also each took out two. One falls, analogous to the outstanding loan balance, and one for basic security. Nothing earth-shattering, just so that the remaining part manages.

I.
I believe that was a risk insurance.
It did not come into effect and has expired.
