Yes exactly, that's what we plan to do now. But since I would like to have my office on the upper floor, as I can look at the horses from there and our dog has its basket in our bedroom, the plan with the bedroom on the ground floor remains.

At 67 I can probably still do it, but hopefully by then I will be retired and won’t have to anymore.

The bedroom near the entrance area is not so nice either. The mailman can knock on the window in the morning... the burglar will also take this window first to snoop ;)

There is actually supposed to be just a window at the back, I haven’t gotten around to changing the windows yet. Besides, no one really comes onto our property but is stopped already at the courtyard gate, which we plan to keep closed at all times - we have an 80kg lap dog and an 8kg "fighting dog" running around freely.

Somehow, despite significant disadvantages, it has something. Bedroom directly next to the entrance – if the property is large and not everyone can get there anyway (mailbox at the driveway 100m away...) that’s OK. The pantry is very narrow, which is neither practical nor economical. If it stays like this: plan a "Kanban flap" for beverage crates accessible from the hallway. It’s less to carry, and the full crates are always in the back. Alternatively, shorten this room and lead the wardrobe cabinet around the corner; this creates storage space without severely affecting the usability of the pantry. It will be a bit more expensive (carpenter), but it would be a great detail. The bathroom looks a bit uninspired to me, but it will work in practice. Why people put a sofa with the backrest against a garden window and install a screen as the central element in the living area will probably remain a mystery to me forever.

Thank you for the tip, I actually imagine the wardrobe to be nice. As already mentioned, the windows & interior design have not been adjusted yet - we don't have a TV at all. But since I am a complete failure artistically, I always have to "piece together" things from already existing pictures.

The parent area still only works without aids. I do not like the situation. Despite the lap dog that can be used as a mount. Measurements are missing. The dining area looks small.
