Good morning kaho674, thank you for the new floor plan. However, we have agreed to leave out the office on the ground floor. It will not be used that often, and therefore we do not want to reduce the living/dining area for it.

I have inquired again with our building authority. We are definitely allowed to build the garage right up to the boundary. The house must be at least 3m away from this boundary. But with the garage, it is at least 6m. Thus, we could place the house and the garage on the property as I have drawn on the site plan. However, we would not pull the garage that far into the property, but place it shortly after the entrance door.

That means that with a 10 m house width and the necessary boundary distance for the garage, you have a maximum of 6 m space, or do I remember the site plan incorrectly?

I would find that unfortunate, as soon as you plan a small platform in front of the front door, the exit width from the garage becomes even narrower.

If we place the garage on the right at the boundary and then the house (approx. 10m) directly next to the garage, we will have about 6m of space left to the left boundary of the property. That should be sufficient. A single step at the front door will probably be enough. But recently, we saw a house in a new development area that built the garage attached to the house exactly as we want and also has a small platform in front of the front door. That would work perfectly and also looked really great.

What is your new plan now?
Regarding my question about the drainpipes in the bathroom thread, it would be very useful to post the new status here.
Toilets should be grouped together.

The current floor plan is at the moment as in post #107. Only a few minor things are different (passage from dressing room to bedroom). I will upload the current plan tomorrow, unfortunately I am on the go at the moment.
