Thank you for your patience!!

L-shape and open area would be great. A rectangle to create more space towards SW would also be great because of the distance to the neighbors. Although we will probably use the terrace towards the garden NW as the main terrace. Rectangle and L-shape will probably be difficult to combine. That’s why we initially thought of a more square shape.

The orientation of the bed on the upper floor is correct and wasn’t optimal for us. However, the bathroom can be larger than the office. I also understand the issue with the dressing room; a solution with possibly two entrances is probably better suited.

I also see the problem with our design having a somewhat too small entrance. I didn’t like that very much either. Since the staircase is probably also a big problem here, a different shape can certainly be used. What good is a straight staircase if you can’t turn after entering the house?

Be careful with bathrooms that are too large! They quickly feel uncomfortable. Unless a gigantic whirlpool or sauna absolutely needs space, 14m² is usually already at the upper limit of comfort.

Ok. Since we have already said goodbye to the T-shape anyway, a slightly smaller bathroom is definitely not a problem. What is important to us is a large bathtub with storage options, a floor-level tiled shower, and a toilet that does not immediately catch the eye upon entering the bathroom.

When setting up [Bäder], Yvonne (YPG) and kbt09 have a good knack for it. When the time comes, it's best to call for help directly.

I will definitely bother the two of them once a floor plan is ready.

I don't quite understand that. The shape of the kitchen is still variable in rectangular rooms, right? So if you want an L there, I could even place it freely in the room if necessary – even if the room were round. You have more of a U as the kitchen with a small entrance. So an I and an L. Is that optimal for you?
