Just as Kaho 674 drew it, that's what I meant.

Pantry
Take the measurements of a freezer, then open the door + space for the hand to open it is the minimum depth the pantry needs.

When do you stand in the kitchen and enjoy the morning sun?
Much more often you stand in the kitchen, not yet really suitable for daylight, and make a coffee.

So the more I see your answers and floor plans, the more I like the idea of the kitchen in the NW. First, the path to the terrace would actually be shorter, and second, we could then really only install a normal window below by the couch. The utility room would also be towards the street, where the outdoor unit of the air-water heat pump is supposed to go. This means a shorter distance and is probably better. The main terrace is in the NW, facing the large garden. We will probably hardly ever use the terrace to the SW towards the neighbor anyway, since the sun shines directly there around noon.

We actually planned the pantry under the stairs at the beginning, as you drew it. But we thought the room here would be too small or that an open staircase would make the hallway appear a bit bigger and more inviting. But we will reconsider that.

In any case, the ground floor will really be mirrored. A view of the large garden is also nicer than looking out at the street. Phew, we wouldn’t have thought of that, thanks. You can tell we have little experience there.

haydee wrote that the bathroom is not nice. Do you see it the same way? If yes, how could it be changed? The only important thing for us is a large walk-in shower and a large bathtub.

What bothers me about the bathroom is that there is only 1 sink and the area around the toilet, shower, and sink looks so dark and cramped.

How about a large walk-in shower and a glass splash guard?
Double sink on another wall?

A walk-in shower is unfortunately not possible. My better half absolutely wants a built and tiled shower. I have already talked her out of having the office on the ground floor; I have to leave her a little something. Since we have planned at least 1.4m for the shower, the passages for the shower and toilet will probably be a bit tight.... The two windows also limit the possibilities, but we definitely want to keep them. A double washbasin on the wall would work. The bathroom was only a quick rough draft from us.

Why do walk-in and built-in mutually exclude each other for you?

Sorry for the stupid question, but doesn’t Walk In mean with a glass front? Or am I mixing something up? The shower should definitely be built up and tiled all around.
