Okay. I would have said the driveway is at the top of the plan and comes from the left side of the plan. :D

In principle, that's how I mean it, as shown below.

Addendum: Pasted the floor plan into the overview again.

And how does it fit here into the property?

Mirror along the vertical axis so that the kitchen/living area is on the left side of the plan and the garage is at the top.

Well, no matter how you turn and twist, the straight staircase always catches up with you when planning the upper floor. The straight staircase always cuts through the upper floor. If you look at the Schneider from Baufritz in the attachment, the children's bathroom disappears if you want to get to the attic. :(
Does anyone have an idea about this?
The problem does not exist with a half-turn staircase; here is (in our opinion) the optimum regarding hallway size, walking distances, and room usage.
On the other hand, we lack a bit of imagination on how a ground floor without a study could look with the staircase; an idea is also in the attachment.
The floor plans mentioned in the neighboring thread by go in a similar direction, but all have a study on the ground floor.

There was, in my opinion, a pause in communication here since you had announced that you would receive a new draft from the architect. Don’t you want to wait for that first?

Good point, here is an interim status. We don't really like the arrangement of the WC/pantry on the upper floor, we prefer the straightforwardness of Baufritz's design. The upper floor now has the children's bathroom above the living room, the bathroom is huge as a result. Maybe the children's and main bathrooms could be placed in the children's room on the upper left and the children's room placed on the upper right instead. The floor area is now 8.8x11.5m (previously it was 13x9m +0.5m bay window).
