: Thanks for the hint. The longer we turned the table back and forth, the more we are now back to a horizontal orientation and closer to the window below. Otherwise, we will move the sofa up by half a meter, which will then make the study and the utility/technical room slightly smaller.
Interestingly, we have found that we are currently very satisfied in our house that the laundry is done on the ground floor - so we are canceling the laundry room on the upper floor and placing the washing machine and dryer with the technical room. The architect is currently working on adapting the staircase (away from the half-landing staircase with interruption). On the upper floor, the children's bathroom is to be placed where the utility room is; the utility room will be eliminated. The gained space is to be (if possible) added to the master bathroom, where the bathtub is important to us. If the space cannot be used meaningfully - well, an exciting question on how to deal with it then.
What I find difficult about such decisions is that no one can tell you how construction prices will look in a year or what savings in living space will bring. It's clear that I cannot calculate linearly with the entire sentence (e.g., 2,500€/m²). For Weberhaus, for example, the same house concept with the same rooms, which are correspondingly larger (Sunshine 120 vs. Sunshine 220), costs about 1,000€/m² more for the extra living space.
