Mmh, so the tread depth and height are actually pretty clear to me. What’s really interesting is how the staircase below is constructed height-wise; presumably, a prefabricated concrete staircase would be installed. We currently have 2.96m from finished floor to finished floor, with 16 steps that makes 18.5cm height per step. The door would be under step No. 12, so that’s 2.22m. At that point, I think you can live well with a 1.98m standard door (otherwise I would prefer 2.11m), but it’s still tight. But aside from the detail question, I’m of course interested in your opinion on the concept :)

Well, I wouldn't build it. It's a kind of emergency solution. Such things are okay but simply not nice. All your doors are 2.11m and the one under the stairs is about 2m high – it immediately looks like an emergency solution. The frame will probably already be slightly covered by a step. I would look for another solution or keep experimenting.

What ceiling height do you have with a 296 cm story height on the ground floor? How is the upper floor planned? It’s best to always provide all information (sections and views) when you have a new plan.

So, we have the floor plan finalized so far, the windows are still under discussion. The only point that still bothers me a bit is the smaller children's room on the upper floor. The guest WC is now 1.15m wide, can you scrape off another 0.1m there or would you then have to lower your pants in the hallway?

I think it is very good. I would definitely not make the guest WC narrower. For me, 125 cm is always standard. 115 cm is okay, but narrower is already close to an "outhouse". ;) I would have some reservations about the sliding door to the pantry. We constantly go in and out there. Sliding it would be super annoying and time-consuming.

Give up your bedroom and swap it with the small children's room. You only sleep there anyway. Whether the bathroom is right next door or 2 m further away hardly matters at the house size. I find zoning less important than equality. :) A slightly narrower children's bathroom and it's already enough for the cabinets.

Forgotten: Regarding the windows: I would definitely always let light in from two sides in the children's rooms and the bathroom.

Yes, you can do it that way with the bedroom. It's somehow a mental thing that I can't quite come to terms with yet, but that would be a totally rational solution to the "problem". What would you consider the minimum width for the children's bathroom? The furnishing can also be different from what is shown; it should be primarily functional. Otherwise, one could also make the lower rooms a bit smaller.
