You have now found an architect who is not as stupid as his predecessor. And you have received tips on the new design from post #133 on how it can be improved with simple means. So why do you now want to mess around with the design introduced in post #140 instead? You are making your house construction unnecessarily difficult. Probably because you want to build the perfect dream house. I recommend that you rather build the best home for your family. And from my point of view, that is more the design #133 with the recommended small improvements, without tinkering around with windows. Smaller bathroom, larger room K3, partly drywall (so as not to force the upper floor layout into the constraints of the load-bearing walls above those of the ground floor). If you want, with reversed staircase direction. Forget your stupid corner windows: the devil put those ideas in your ear so that you don’t realize that you have already reached your goal design-wise!

The ground plan of the GF is very similar, only the entrance and hallway to the WC are on the other side and there is this recessed entrance. The kitchen is now too big and I would reduce it to a U-shape, but I have to increase the distance between the elements and the peninsula from 110 to 120 cm. I don’t want corner windows and I told the architect that. I want larger windows in the open space in the east and west as well as in the kitchen. And should there be a window (normal or floor-to-ceiling, or fixed) to the west corner next to the TV as well?

Thank you very much. Great! :)
What are the windows in the living room to the left and right of the TV?

Your architect will still optimize the windows according to your wishes. The windows on the ground floor are somewhat aligned with the upper floor and the elevations. The architect should definitely be able to manage that.

You're welcome. As far as I'm concerned, slots fixed glazing) from about 50 cm sill height, it depends a bit on the TV furniture.

I was just with the architect and his assistant. The upper floor will be as Katja suggested :) Hurray! Downstairs there will be a kitchen with 2 rows with a door) and 360 cm (it should maybe be 365 cm if I do the Ikea kitchen myself). The peninsula will be smaller, large windows in the living room face east and west, sliding doors will be smaller, next to them a chest of drawers with a TV and next to it a fixed glass brh50 like from Hanghaus. See you tomorrow :)
