This was the first version, with a podium staircase. Now the steps have been removed, the kitchen has become too large, the hallway too narrow, the utility room smaller. I need to decide quickly before the deal with the architect. And I'm also not satisfied with the windows, do you have any suggestions? I might possibly convert the kitchen to the U-shape and install larger windows facing east (I will not have [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung]).

You can't even fit a bed, desk, and a wardrobe in 8m².
And where is the child supposed to play if they want to be alone?

I was also being ironic. By the way, I know what I'm talking about because my mancave/workroom is exactly 8 m². There is room for a desk, a filing cabinet, a shelf, and a sofa bed. If I didn't have a floor-to-ceiling window, which I want to use in the medium term, a dresser would fit in there, and a few shelves would fit above the sofa bed. For me, it works (I regularly sleep here), but for a child, it is definitely not suitable. Better to make one room bigger and put two children in it. My opinion.
