Does the new house really have to be right on the street? Is that some kind of regulation? With such a large space, you could plan completely differently if you could move away from the street.

Unfortunately, the house has to be on the street. That of course has a huge impact on the floor plan.

Exactly, the plot is just under 17 meters wide at the front.
There is a new development plan. We already inquired whether it is allowed to build the house in the middle of the plot. The answer was: you can submit an application, but it looks rather bad. Since this affects the entire floor plan, we are playing it safe and building at the front by the street. The advantage is that we have a large garden.

Further to the back would mean that we wouldn’t have a window on the right side in the dining area. Therefore, garage in front that can be opened electrically.

The garage is only for the car given the width. What about bicycles, etc.? What concept do you have planned for that?
