Then I will put it more concretely: what was your final impression of Hauser and Köhler and why didn’t it work out with them? If there has already been feedback on this and I missed it, then I apologize.
Hauser: Well-made construction service description, seem committed, but I only had good and friendly email contact. It’s also possible that I spoke to someone on the phone once. The company Köhler did not respond to my email inquiries at all for whatever reason. I hope you have a fixed price with them, given the terrible price increases.
You never know who is reading along and how that might affect further cooperation.
So I am of the opinion that if you are honest, fair, and nuanced in your reports, e.g. as is mostly the case with , then no sane person should have a problem with you. I assume all home providers search forums for the company name and check the reputation. The right to freedom of expression still applies in the German legal system.
@ezar Are you still satisfied with Köhler in 2023? Currently also looking for a general contractor for a single-family house directly in Stuttgart. Greetings...
Are there significant differences in exterior wall construction regarding heat storage in winter and especially heat retention in summer? I know that the biggest part of heat loss also comes through the windows, but now only considering the bricks or walls.
Are gypsum wall panels as interior walls sufficient for soundproofing, or would sand-lime bricks be better here? I just want to avoid hearing every word from the next room or having certain noises from the toilet spread throughout the entire floor.
I would be interested in your experiences with the company Köhler. We are currently searching in the Stuttgart area and Köhler is among the shortlisted options. Best regards

Köhler was also among the finalists for me for a long time. The contact was nice, Mr. Köhler took his time and was always available for inquiries. In the end, I did not proceed with Köhler because the cost estimate was only very rough based on the gross volume of the building; for a reliable offer, we would have had to go into detailed planning, which costs several thousand euros at Köhler. Although this would have been credited if the construction contract was concluded, since the price difference of the cost estimate compared to, for example, FERMO was not really significant, I decided against this upfront investment.
