Really exciting! Thank you very much for the update

Well, currently it's carnival holidays, and AWS/Härtter are both relatively small companies in comparison. We approached both at the beginning of 2019 and even then it would have been tight to start in the same year. Everyone in the region is simply too busy.

We also partly had the feeling that if anything was to be done, it would only be something from the "standard" program. Out of 21 companies contacted, we received 9 direct rejections (project too small, too individual, no capacity, ...)

Yes, please. We had a similar experience with a prefabricated house provider

Sounds a lot like a manufacturer from Weissach.

Seriously? Our salesperson there was super committed. But true, the things you experience as a prospective buyer. With one manufacturer, we tried 3 times to get the initial advisor for an offer (2-3 weeks). Never received any feedback. Then we called the head office. Subsequently, another advisor called us and scheduled an appointment. After that, the first advisor finally called us, very outraged. What a kindergarten. I guess it really depends a lot on the person of the salesperson.

Update: Cancellation by Härtter, no capacity.

Which manufacturer from Weissach do you mean? Haus der Handwerker (Mönsheim)?

Absolutely, you should never generalize and above all, there are always people behind it who sometimes feel pressure/have a bad day, but it can still massively influence the decision for or against a provider.

Apparently, some builders confuse requests for quotes with a rampage. Just imagine that where you earn your bread: first, there would be twenty time thieves per customer :-(
