Regarding Fellbach: Many houses there have aged (the Kampa house in Fellbach is from 2008!), many houses there have no basement, most are still over 160m² in size, it is completely unclear what belongs to the "standard" of an offer. It is also unclear whether a house was just quickly and cheaply "planted". Tiles are always beyond 60x60, fittings partly upscale and rather not standard. And the architecture is so individual with the providers anyway, i.e. almost every provider has all common roof shapes and house types (e.g. semi-detached house, city villa, bungalow, etc.). The exterior appearance helps little in this regard. This is my impression regarding the wooden prefabricated houses.
Side note: The Baufritz (solid wood) house is of course legendary with a several-ton heavy kitchen countertop, planed solid wood parquet, etc. The lady there stated on inquiry construction costs from 3500€/m² :-)

Yeah, Siemens and Audi engineers

And defensive offer is quite a common term, isn't it?

Oh dear, even the engineers. I also suspect that craftsmen/craftswomen, energy consultants, etc. are not welcome as builders :) As a layperson in sales and marketing industries, I did not know the term. Learned something new again!

...but some are new and sufficiently offer enough ideas for an adaptation or similar that you then discuss with the regional BU, which is not in Fellbach... just think less complicated ;)

Well, that's great when you can also demonstrate the durability of your products right away. So if you became the next consumer protection minister, one would probably "look forward" to seeing the models in the exhibition shown in the no-extra-charge equipment version :-(
Basements under exhibition stands – what world do you live in?

... on cast iron base cabinets or how is that supposed to work???

You see: even with a construction quality standard, you can mount a defense, in this case against average earners ;-)

I would really be pleased about that, whether you can relate or not  But here in Germany, unfortunately consumer protection ministers have no say... They get forced into the Ministry of Agriculture or somewhere else and are not allowed to object.

What do you mean by trade fair stands? Which fair?

I really enjoyed your follow-up question. I think the lady said the natural granite stone weighed over 3 tons (can't judge if that's realistic). No idea what kind of base cabinets they were, I didn't check. Maybe there was an invisible concrete block underneath or something...
