Hi.
Very interesting and frightening at the same time, where is this all going to lead.
I'm currently hearing about it from (ex) colleagues in the Düsseldorf - Cologne area - they are desperately searching here. Now also in the beautiful North.
No longer affordable for normal consumers or possible to save up against.
Near us in Solingen, condominiums are being built at 5000 € / m².
Good thing - in 4 weeks we will be gone from here.:D
All of this confirms that we did everything right.
Paid terraced house on the outskirts of Hanover, which is rented out.
Plot of land on the Baltic Sea already bought and fully paid for about 9 years ago.:D
Now just hoping the place will be finished by the end of the year.
Regards Olli

And if not, then you get yourself a holiday apartment. It all works. It's annoying, of course, but there are worse things! My colleague: four of them, both boys teenagers, half a year in 65 sqm. She said: it’s so cleansing :D

Terrifying what the mayor of Flensburg lets slip at the beginning ^^

Is it? I find it understandable and plausible considering his concept with the harbor. Popular cities simply cannot always designate more and more building land. Should the last patch of green eventually be built over? It will come down to the fact that in the future anyone who wants to build will have to move to small towns or new development areas in villages.

Yes, that's true. But it will additionally fuel social unrest.

Therefore, from my perspective, not realistic. For metropolitan areas, yes, but for medium-sized cities like Flensburg, from my perspective, unthinkable.
But who knows what the future will bring

Morning,
we have rented a holiday apartment flat-rate for 6 months starting from 1.6. - 50 m². :D
The few pieces of furniture we still have - everything we want to be new we sold - will be stored.
We wanted to get out of NRW as quickly as possible and back to the coast.
