No, nothing certain. The two plots just came in today. So I don't have any info except the address. It is located directly on Dorfstraße, so it will be connected to utilities, right? In the neighboring main village, 60 plots will be surveyed in autumn... They will be more expensive, but 500 sqm might be enough. On the other hand, with a larger plot you would of course have the option to pass it on to the next generation later and put up a Pixelhome... Just a thought...

It then falls under outbuildings, which also need to be approved. Let's take it one step at a time. You start with the first one ;)

If there is no construction obligation, I would strongly push for a purchase. You can hardly get free plots anyway, and in the very last resort, you can sell it again.

Yes, buy immediately without a building obligation and hold onto it if you are willing to pay the construction prices at some point. Otherwise, hold onto it for the next generation, as long as it is not in a dump (without train, bus, grocery store, daycare, primary school, gas station, bank, bakery, etc.) where no young person wants to go anyway. The same applies to a later sale. We have a few dumps here where only locals buy because there is only a barn and you can’t get away without a car. That is only suitable as an investment to a limited extent.

At the beginning of the week, I had us put on the interested parties list of our central village... There are still 60 building plots coming. The employee told me that a plot in the next village is also supposed to be developed. But that will take a while and first needs to go through the committee. So it's not something to start "quickly."

I'll call the farmer today... What else do you need to know regarding a land purchase? It is apparently surveyed.

So it is a nowhere place... But it is only 4 km outside the central town. It has schools, doctors, train, etc.
