Our surface in the courtyard is permeable. And the rainwater from the roof also infiltrates. A large cistern doesn't make sense, we have our own well for watering the garden.

We built a cistern and still had to pay the city a four-digit amount for rainwater based on the floor area and the plot area. But maybe it’s different in other federal states.
However, since this payment was a one-time occurrence, it actually doesn’t count as additional costs, so that’s correct again.

Nevertheless, the trash bins are cheaper in an apartment, the TV reception is cheaper, the property tax is cheaper, the heating costs are cheaper due to the neighbor's heating (we truly NEVER used the heating in our apartment!), and the chimney sweep is cheaper.
For the janitorial service, it probably depends entirely on the apartment, we had to clean our stairwell ourselves every 4 weeks.

My rainwater is discharged directly into the sewer station. Currently costs 70€ per year for my house.

Especially garbage is cheaper in our building because I can save a lot by consistent sorting. I only pay for the bins I put out for emptying. And that is not many. I have TV reception in the house via satellite, which costs me nothing monthly if I don’t need additional services.

Stormwater is not charged everywhere. But where, as here, a separate rainwater sewer exists and this is mandatory, connection is compulsory, there is also a fee for it, which is based on the roof area and sealed surface area. The more paving, the more expensive.
